So you’re thinking about getting a new website but just not sure when to pull the trigger. What you may not know is that launching a new website before the new year has a lot of upside.
Here are a couple of strategic reasons you may not want to delay any longer.
1. Because December and January can often be a busy time of the year personally and for your business, getting your website, branding, and strategy set as early as possible allows you to take the headache out of those decisions while you’re also balancing the holidays. If you have everything set, including automated lead responses, social media content and a brand strategy, for example, you’ll have more time to relax, even as new clients roll in.
2. Whether you’re a New Year’s resolutions kind of person or not, it’s hard to deny that seeing January first on the calendar has a fresh start to it. This is a time that many people are looking for new services, products and ways to improve their life. If your new site is ready by the time the ball drops, you’ll be well positioned to attract your ideal client when they are actively looking. (Note: This goes for December as well, especially for businesses with a product or service that may be ideal for holiday gifts!).
3. Given that prices for services, website subscriptions, and even our favorite lattes can increase every year, securing everything you need now will guarantee the lowest pricing for you while capitalizing on the increase you may choose to apply to your own business in the New Year. Many of my clients are able to charge more for a new launch or rebranding because they’ve created new value, content and learned how to attract their ideal client!
The summer is quickly coming to a close but it’s not to late take advantage of everything that comes with a new look before the new year!
