When I was a promotional marketing designer at a marketing firm for plastic surgeons and doctors, we had a team of a 3 with over 300 clients that we created and sent out emails for monthly. With each practice or medspa having 1,000-15,000 names on their email lists, we sent A LOT of emails for their monthly specials, events, and announcements. One of the most important aspects of our emails was that they had a STRONG call to action, urging the patient to go to the website and book an appointment. The call to action in most cases was the most important part of the email and was one of the first things that were seen in an email.
